I've had many inquiries recently why I decided to switch the name of my office from Olson Family Chiropractic to Active ChiroCare. The first reason was because I wanted to project to the community what my focus in chiropractic is -- helping people attain an active lifestyle through the elimination or reduction of neck or back pain, headaches, scoliosis, or sports-related injuries. I also liked the word "active" because I, myself, am very active and athletically-minded.
As far as the word "chirocare", I feel like it's a combination of 2 words: chiropractic and healthcare. To me, "chirocare" means giving patients the tools live an active life by not only chiropractic adjustments, but also by utlizing massage therapy techniques, sports injury rehabilitation techniques, as well as specialized soft-tissue techniques for tight and sore muscles.
